August 7th, 2020
The Grass Stain Sessions is a video series that explores the sense of human connection music and art provide. The videos feature musicians sharing two songs and telling a story.
Chad Price is a young Canadian pop/soul singer-songwriter who has accomplished much so far in his quickly emerging musical career. He’s had songs featured on multiple national TV programs including MUCH/MTV Canada’s “Degrassi” as well as TSN’s March Madness basketball coverage. Chad has also had a radio charting song, toured Canada and parts of the US and Asia, and has shared the live stage and/or worked with artists like Lights, Walk Off The Earth, Loud Luxury, Donovan Woods, Justin Nozuka, Tyler Shaw, JP Saxe, and members of Arkells. His live show has also allowed Chad to play festivals headlined by the likes of Ben Harper, The Strumbellas, Weezer, and Magic! He’s even earned the praise and approval of entrepreneur and social media guru Gary Vaynerchuk who featured Chad’s music in his very popular social media content that has been viewed by millions.
Chad independently released his latest FACTOR and Canada Council for the Arts supported folk/soul album which has garnered over a million online streams to date. He is a 2015 Jack Richardson Music Award nominee for Best Songwriter, co-host of the 2018 Jack Richardson London Music Awards, and a featured artist on the inaugural season of CTV/Bell Media’s hit show “The Launch”. Chad is currently recording his third studio album and performing original music at music venues and music festivals in Canada and internationally.
The Grass Stain Sessions is presented by Last Draft Inc., a London-based personal brand management and content writing company that aims to amplify authenticity online.
We see ourselves in each other and by sharing narrative and personal experience, we have the opportunity to empathize and understand one another. Through The Last Draft, our team looks to create a virtual space for artists to share their work from their own environment. Stories can be shared through a multitude of mediums and the Grass Stains Sessions is a stage that has been set to take viewers into artists’ backyards, histories, and imaginations.
